Learner Diary Day 14

  On day -14

We learnt about Artificial Intelligence ,how Artificial Intelligence work and what are its uses .

In the second session we learnt about social media for academic libraries , how social media 

play an important role in libraries .

Learning Diary Day 13

 On the thirteenth day of the course we went on the tour to Chandigarh. We visit to  Rock garden , Chandīgarh bird park ,Sukhna lake , Rose garden. 

Learning of Day 12th

 On 12th day we learnt about Flagship programmes in Kendriya Vidyalayas Siangtan , which different  flagship programmes are working and their importence. We hands on practice of book creator in the computer lab.

 On eleventh day we learnt about inclusive education , how we can provide enclusive education and need of inclusive education .In the second half we learnt about book creater .Then in the computer lab we done hands on practice

Diary learning Day 10

On the  Tenth day of the course in the first  session we learnt about many effective communication skills .Role of librarian to develop  life skills. In the second session we learnt about sexual harassment of women at work place. Committees where file complaint. How develop the reading  habit of teachers. In the second half  we learnt from many presentations by different teachers. Then we hand on practice in computer lab.

learning diary Day 9

Day 9-24/01/2023 we learnt about Open Educational Resource. What are different educational resources are available. How can we use them and what are their uses. In the second session we learnt about different life skills, also learnt about 21 century skills. How these skill help us in daily life .Life skills according to NEP 2020 and role of librarian to develop life skills. In second half in the first session were presentation by the participants. We learnt  a lot from all the presentations. Then in the second session there was hand on practice in the computer lab.

Learning of 8th Day

First session of 8^th Day is very informative because we learnt many concepts related to our subject such as Trinity of Library, Library automation, Digital Library, Virtual Library and E Library.

In 2^nd session we learnt about NCPCR and POCSO Act. From this we learnt about how we can help a child who is harassed by his family member or by any unknown person by different ways.

In 2^nd half we visit A C Joshi Library (Punjab University) and we watch functioning of different sections and learnt How RFID system works. 

Learning of 7th Day

 

Today in first session many important points were discussed on Awareness of Cyber Security & Internet Safety and we learnt how we can secure our privacy from Internet threats and how we can check authenticity of websites.

In 2^nd session there was discussion about how to maintain Teachers Diary and its different parts such as how to prepare quarterly report, Library statistics, Bookclub and record of different types activities.

Important points of CANVA were discussed in another session such as What is CANVA? How we can customize different types of material on this platform like Posters, Presentations, Brouchers and invitation Card.Which is very helpful for our School Library.

Learning of 6th Day

 

On the 6^th day in 1^st session many important points from IFLA School Library Manifesto 2021 such as The mission of School Library Programme, Librarian as School Leader and Librarian as Information Specialist etc.

In second session we learnt what is stress? Its types and how we can overcome from this.

In the second half we practice Newsletter on MS Publisher. We learnt how to create a School Library Newsletters its importance as a Library promotional tool.

Learning of 5th Day

 

On  the 5^th Day in first session we learnt  about how to develop reading habit among the students and Teachers and key factors of valued Librarian.

In the same session many innovative School Library activities suggested such as Building story book Pyramid, Train Journey, Atlas Game, Story Chain, read aloud and many more. In the second session we learnt many life skills.

In second half there is practical session on Wakelet: A library vitual Tool. We create our Virtual Library on this platform.

 

Learning DIARY Day 4

 

On Fourth Day in the first session NEP 2020 was discussed in context of School Education. Role of School Library and how Librarian can play his role in implementation of NEP2020.

Then in 2^nd session we learnt about important Web Tools to create Virtual Library of our Vidyalaya. In second half of the day there was practical session on Virtual Library and we create virtual library on Sound Cloud and Linktree. It will be very helpful for our users.

Learning Diary Day 3

 

On the 3rd Day I learnt about the role of Librarian as a academic leader like To Provide Right Information To Right  person, How we can play Role in Digital Literacy and as motivator. I learnt qualities of a good leader and types of Leaders.

From second session on work life balance and work ethics I learn we are the best hero for ourself and there is no need to change others because it is totaly waste of time.

Second Day of course is very important  for me because each and every aspect of Guidelines for School Library Manual were discussed and I learnt many things like-about purchasing of Books, Budget, ratio of student and books, Budget furniture and  space of Library etc. 

On the same Day many important points were learnt on School Safety. How School safety is important for our students.

In second half of the day there is practical session in computer Lab and we learnt step by step how to create Digital Portfolio.
